MTM Audi S8 Talladega
MTM has unveiled the Audi S8 Talladega which will be a limited edition consisting of only 25 units.
It was March 24, 1986 when Bobby Unser driving an Audi 5000 CS Turbo managed to average 332 km/h around the oval track of the Talladega Speedway in Alabama, hitting a top speed of more than 219 mph (350 km/h). Now, MTM has decided to celebrate that record with a tuned S8 facelift available in 25 units, each priced at €189,708.
For this money you will be getting the V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine tuned from 520 HP (320 kW) to 760 HP (559 kW) while torque is increased from 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) to 945 Nm (697 lb-ft).
Thanks to these modifications, the Audi S8 Talladega by MTM runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.48 seconds while the 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) journey takes 10.51 seconds, en route to a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h) which has been electronically limited to protect the tires.
Aside from the power bump, MTM is also providing the Audi S8 facelift with 21-inch Bimoto wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring
295/30, along with an aerodynamic body kit partially made from carbon fiber, as well as various interior cabin enhancements.
