Audi Exclusive B8 RS4

Audi Exclusive has unveiled a one-off RS4 Avant.

Presumably created for a German customer, the one-off model features a Peridot green exterior with gloss black mirror caps and matte black alloy wheels.

The sporty styling continues in the cabin as there's gloss black accents, Peridot green trim and Peridot green accent stitching. The model also has Audi Exclusive badging and leather / Alcantara sport seats with Peridot green shells.

As a refresher, the RS4 Avant is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 engine that develops 450 PS (331 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system which enables it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds before hitting a limited top speed of up to 280 km/h (174 mph).

I know it sucks, but people kinda gotta get over the whole automatic thing.

I hope we get rs4 wagons some day. Or at least an s4 wagon back....

nothing wrong with proper dual clutch.. you just have to use one to really like them

i love my 6spd but those DSGs are really really good now

I wont argue this as its been beaten to death, but once again there is no arguement which one is the better transmission. Technology has come a LONG WAY to make the DSG and PDK transmission far superior to a regular manual 6 speed. But for some people, there is no way to fill that void of throwing your own gears. Its just a shame that car manufacturers arent even presenting an option for those people.

Dont get me wrong though, if they made this car and I could afford it, DSG or not I would own it in a heart beat!

And after talking with you, Im not sold yours wasn't a funny one. I love my DSG in my A3, it does quite well.

Nope, mech unit was replaced and everything. Nothing was wrong with it. I just didn't enjoy it.

Ah I got the impression you still didn't think things were acting quite right.

What about it didn't you enjoy? You mentioned you didn't feel it was a good match with the 3.2, when with mine (after driving Brent's 2.0T) its a much better match than his engine. Still able to keep it in the RPM's I want, shifts when I want etc.

Not trying to start a fight, just discussing what it was about yours you didn't enjoy is all.

I don't wanna derail this thread, (sorry modz) but yeah i dunno I can't really put a finger on it. Dsg just didn't feel right with the 3.2 for some reason. I'm much happier with what I have now

Coming from a person that only drives auto, I'm happy to see more fun and sporty cars going this way. Gives people like me more options to drive and enjoy it.
Yes I can drive standard, No I don't enjoy it at all. Everyone is different.
That's why I love my R32. DSG, All wheel drive and fast enough for city/highway driving.

Id totally rock this avant!! Color, DSG and all!
