Audi radio safe mode

So my cars radio went into safe mode the other day, I don't have the code.
Not sure how it happened, battery didn't die or get disconnected.
I think my daughter was pressing buttons on the radio while she was in the car with my wife haha.

Do I just need my vin for the dealership to get it, or do I need to bring the car into service?

I think you need the VIN and the radio serial number...don't quote me on that though...

Yep. Just call the dealership with VIN and radio SN and they can pull it up for you

False. Glenmore Audi makes you book an appointment and charges something like $40 to get you the radio code. They will not do it over the phone and they want the serial # from the back of the radio. PS Justin the code for the A6 is 1129.
