2015 Audi R8 LMS Ultra Prototype
Audi is putting the finishing touches on the 2015 / 2016 R8, so it was only a matter of time until they started development on an all-new R8 LMS Ultra.
Caught undergoing testing on the Nürburgring, the race car features an aggressive front fascia with canards and a prominent single frame grille.
Moving further back, there's aerodynamic mirrors, ventilated fenders and lightweight alloy wheels with Michelin tires. The sporty styling continues out back as the car has a ventilated rear fascia, a massive diffuser and a large rear wing.
The prototype was only able to put in a few laps before it had to stop due to undisclosed technical problems.
