Well I think this car is very hot and obviously I am not in a position to justify picking one up, in any form, however I am in a position to at least see the concept, so Bart and I are heading to Worthersee next week to see this and many other cars, plus whatever VW might have up it's sleeve!
And just to tease some more, here is a render of what it would look like in Sportback form...
Blair Former Cars: '12 Fiat 500, '10 VW GTI, '05 Smart Fortwo, '96 VW Jetta GLX, '02 VW GTI 337.........
My money is all for the Sportback... so delicious!
Rob Daddy's "Hooligan" - MK4 R32 in Deep Blue Pearl Mommy's "Gran Turismo" - E70 X5M in Black Sapphire Metallic GONE... BUT NOT FORGOTTEN: The Family "Muscle Car" - B7 RS4 in Misano Red - Dad's 20th Anniversary "Wanna-be R32" GTi
The car was amazing in person and Bart and I spent a fair bit of time talking with the project lead as after he found out we brought an Audi from Canada over he knew we meant business
From our chats looks like the next RS3 will be for sure the sportback (possible sedan second but not 100%) and will have the 2.5T, but it will probably not be anywhere as aggressive as this car but some features are going to make appearances around the range such as the steering wheel is in the MK3 TT and the next gen R8.
Thanks for noticing my giggle, I think a combination of the music playing and realizing that air brake would be useless on the slow roads of Canada put a smile on my face.
