  • any on have a worn 5x112 rotor i can have

    any 5x112 rotor would do, don't care for condition at all as long as the hat is in good shape and i can mate it to my v70r rotor so i can match the bolt patterns.

    Have old rotors from my Passat still. In Hidden Valley, if that is anywhere near you...

      I'm confused...what do you need to 'match'? All that is needed for the v70r rotors to fit is to bore out the existing bolt holes a tad...the center bore is fine. I just did mine for the 17Z's Basically I started with a drill bit slightly bigger and then kept test fitting until I got the right one. Can't remember the exact size of the top of my head but I can check when I get home if you need...

        BTW - anyone else doing this mod should know that the Volvo rotors are MUCH easier to modify then the MB rotors everyone was using. There is no need to modify the center bore AND they are the proper thickness (and beefy as hell).

          if you could that would be great, that would make to process easier, allot of people are simply using a 3/4 drill bit but say the holes are too large, not something i want exactly, so i figured just shaving off what i needed would be the best.

            you can use a "unibit" it works really well.. the factory bolts are 14mm so I am thinking a 15-16mm (5/8) bit would suffice.

              I've seen pics of the Volvo rotors, looks like their cooling vanes are way better engineered than the Audi ones.

              Do they come in 323x30? If so I'll prob go that direction when it comes time for new rotors.

                    9/16 or 5/8 depending on how tight you want the holes (insert offside comment here)... Looks like the one I used was 9/16 but I seem to remember having to use 5/8 on a couple just for an easier fit
