  • 335i ECU conectors

During my JB4 install I somehow managed to end up without one of the ECU subconector clips attached. I now cannot for the life of me pull the large ECU subconector off of the ECU. Im guessing this is because that clip acted as a release as well as a locking mechanism, but surely there is a way to remove it without damaging it? If anyone has had this happen let me know how you dealt with it! The JB4 install guide was only helpful in stating DO NOT let that happen... Ha.

Everything works fine, but im more concerned down the road, if I have to remove the JB4 for whatever reason.

When I went back to my phone to look for them I realized it had not saved them. I don't have time to dismantle enough to get at the ECU box for a week or so here.

Page 15 forward, those large black things that house the subconectors. I forgot the clip on the larger of the two.
