haha thanks guys. i think i'll pickup one and then use it to send the car to a shop cheaper than the tow and good if the s4 blows its turbos :/
You have two aging Audi's(or any car out of OEM RA) I would look at the AMA Premier card. You get one 320km tow and 4 other tows for up to 160km. I think the plus has a yearly total of up to 160km over 5 calls (not exactly sure about this one) Bunch of other benefits like $2000 trip interruption (Rod could have had his entire summer breakdown covered)
anyone ever install their own airbags? its not that hard from what i've seen. hardest part would be the pinch bolt but they were replaced in february when i got these bags in so should come out no problem
colin are you guys booked up or have openings next week?
meh will waiting for a new one to show up i'm doing this myself.. its actually super easy if you've worked on audi suspension before.. took me roughly 32minutes to remove the airbag/strut out including jacking the car up.. pinch bolt came out no problem thankfully so waiting on the new airbag then off to the races mid week i hope.
I did all 4 corners with Gen2's in my allroad last summer. Was a VERY straightforward job and took about 4 hours taking my time (1 of those hours was concentrated on the DS pinch bolt). Good luck with the swap
yea hardest part is getting warranty with arnott since i bought these from a shop on AZ in california.. i'm not on arnotts system.. shop is helping out but its a pain in the ass.. next time i'll buy direct
never heard of the premier? How much is that per year?
Sorry Colin I did not read this till just now. I think the Premier membership was $30 dollars a year more than the Plus membership. Looks like you get one 320km plus four 200km tows. Here is a link to the upgrade path. http://www.caasco.com/Membership-and...embership.aspx
