Who/what have you got un-stuck this winter

Had this idea for a thread , the idea is as it says, who or what have you pulled out of a ditch/snow bank ect after they got stuck and what did you pull it out with.


Today at work a co worker got his new ish Ford F150 4x4 stuck in a snow bank and dug it in about 6-8 inches. Another coworker said his Tacoma could not pull him out. I stepped up to the plate and in the UrS4. The look on his face was priceless..." Oh that's your car." Lol
One tug and he was out, never under estimate quattro.

I wanted to get pics but he took off to quick. He knows he owes me.

Your text about this was awesome, sounds like you made good on that time you bailed on pulling out a neighbour's f150.

Should start a side business, could be a good fund for modding the ol' girl.

That other f150 was a lost cause. He got stuck 3 times in less then a hour in the same spot.

Not this winter but last we helped get a mini van stuck going into a private driveway off 111 Street. Old lady basically drove off the driveway.

Got her moving backwards finally, then she drove over the boulevard and got high centered good. That's about when the tow truck came and we left haha no way I was getting it off the curb/boulevard.

Last year before I bought the MK6 GLI I had a MK4 TDI which I drove into a side street and got high centred in a parking spot because my aluminum skid plate melted the snow and got me real stuck. Had to get my 2000 Durango to pull it out. Even with 31" Hakkapelittas and full time 4wd it couldn't pull it out. Had to resort to yanking it out. I thought that I might pull the rear tow hook off of the Jetta. After 30 minutes it was out

Just today by Ranchlands 711. took 3 of us to push out a van, with a puppy sitting shotgun, and an old man driving who had no choice but turn to the median on the road to avoid a stopped car at the light.

Life Tip guys, if any of your mates are stuck and you gotta get to work! ask the driver to open the passenger window and put your hand inside, and push. Tell the driver to rotate the steering wheel back and forth for better traction as he is pressing the gas. Cheers.

Just drove a stranger's jaguar XFR to get it unstuck at the big hill across from Chinatown last night.....

Using floor mats under the tires helps too.
