E90 M3 Sedan or C63?

Sold my 335i and am now in the market for a faster car. I have driven both vehicles and torn between which one to buy. Any experience? Which one would you buy and why?

We have a black 2010 C63 on the lot right now. Driven it a few times and I must say I'm not impressed. Sure its fast as hell but seems so unrefined! The seats are too bolstered (never thought I would say that) and overall just not a huge fan! Sounds great though! I would probably go for the M3 especially given the fact it has a proper transmission!

Most people say the M3 is near perfect to drive.

Most people say the C63 is a beast...and that's about it.

i'd say C63s are less popular than M3s in town.. unless you can find some super rare color m3 i probably would go for german mopar with the C63.. just be careful if your driving it in the winter but on the roads when i run into them. they sound amazing

Really? I see more C63's than M3's around DT Calgary. I'd go for a M3 for the driving experience. C-Class interior is plasticky lame but the BMW interior is boring.

That would definitely be a tough decision. Both are extremely beautiful cars. I know Mercedes were a bit known for having electrical problems a few years back. Have these all been resolved or are they still a bit of a nightmare for people? That could be the decision maker right there.

hmmmm i love the c63 rumble and they look great - very bossy, and probably a great highway cruiser. I dunno its a tough call cuz you'd be happy with both cars. The Benzy has nearly 50% more tq over the m3 though due to the larger displacement, but the m3 is some 400lbs lighter than the c63. I love the bmw "m" series but in this case would probably go with the c63

Oh, and it happens to be a driver's_car.

That happens to almost be innocuous in traffic... like it's just another BMW.

C63 AMG, because it has a nicer interior than the m3 and the sound of that monster 6.2 is simply amazing. And I love pulling big slides.

I'm a Mercedes fanboy and I don't agree with that statement.

The C-class is just plastic everywhere and you buy the C63 to make noise. Period. Great noise!

The M3 inside is dull as vanilla but interior-wise, it is better built.

E63 vs. M5 is a Mercedes win but that's a tangent.

My Uncle was looking at sporty sedans a couple years ago. One of his colleagues had an older E55 (?) AMG, so he looked at the C63 first. I told him that he should also look at the M3 and S4. Long story short, he went with the S4. Now that his lease is almost up, he's already decided his next car will be a Stasis S4. But between the C63 and M3, he felt that the M3 was the nicer car overall and he'd prefer it for everyday.
