14 Years to the day !!!

It is 14 years to the day that, I took delivery of the B5 S4. Dug this out of the OEM manual sleeve in the glove box today. Hard to believe I still have all documentation & records from day one. Many have come and gone but the b5 S4 will always be a favorite. It will continue to evolve and get better with age.



So long ago that most pictures were still taken on film and printed out ( had to scan this rare first few months image)



That was then this is now! We've come a long way!

Very nice! I know exactly how it feels when your car reaches a certain point of its life! Even though I only owned my car for one year exactly when it turned 10 year old this march, it was a very exciting moment!

Still my favorite S4 in Calgary, love the subtle touches and black and silver scheme. Congrats on keeping a car that long, record for me was only about 5 years or so, I usually just want a change before too long is all, now I am not even sure the next time I will own a car....

Its great how this forum brings a fairly wide age group to the table. I wonder what what you were doing when I took delivery. Filling pampers? JK.

I have bough 6 other vehicles since the B5 but never seem to get sick of it. Not my record, I had a Westphalia for 24 years, 375k. Maybe because it is a good mod platform and i like to tinker. If i was in your position I would be tinkering on a B5 RS4 or moding scooters. Even if it was just temporary.

That is awesome! Cool to have the original bill of sale.
I have everything from when I got mine, including the Texas title. Gonna have to make sure to hang on to it and keep it safe!

I think this car is great. Congrats on evolving it to where it is right now. I think that's the secret to owing a car for a long time - never running out of things to do to improve it! I hope to be able to say the same about mine in 12 years time!
