I was heading over to BK for dinner when a G35X was trying to race me... Well I raced him... And forgot to shift somehow. My car hit 7500 revs and 25+ pounds, and make a weird hick up sputter sound, then I realized and shifted to second, made the same noise, then 3rd and it was gone. Car hasn't done it since... But I'm worried I've done some damage.
Anything to watch out for or let me know? She still sounds normal revving and still pulls like normal under boost.
I'm guessing and hopping that sound was just the rev limiter cutting fuel flow.
Also yes, I realize I'm stupid.
