  • Well... It's finally done!

After... probably 100+ man hours of labour and a lot of things coming up, my 1999.5 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro stage 3 is finally complete.

All I can say is... It was worth it, first time coming on to 17th ave in Chestermere and hitting 18lb's boost... Only thing I don't like is the Clutchmasters FX400 and 19lb SMFW... It kicks my ass hard every time I touch it.

The ghetto mylar heat shield is temporary... Having one CNC'd for me soon.

I am in love with my exhaust...

Thanky! I hope to buy a spare 058 AEB soon and build it to a 2.0 Stroker. Also have some body work in mind, would mainly just like a new front bumper (anyone got a black S4 bumper..?). Really really love the looks of these cars, was a B5.5 Passat driver before and always wanted a B5 A4. My paint is pretty amazing, minus a few rock chips on the front end and an idiot mark on my back bumper (because people in Calgary can't not rear end you when they park apparently).

It was mainly things going wrong... And my first time ever doing a clutch! And fitting the FMIC, had to do a lot of bumper trimming. Would love a new bumper.

I also think I spent way too much on my A4... I could have bought the other car I adore... The BMW E46 M3! But it's mine now, and it's time to do lots of goofy stuff to it.

It also sounds scary as hell flying around on high boost! I've never heard a car sound like that before! I'll have to get my roommate filming me doing a short sprint by the condo.

Need to find myself a manual boost controller... This C2 tune pushed 20PSI on my 2871R... Which is fine and dandy until you realize I have stock con rods.

Might have to drop by tomorrow! Do you also have liquid thread sealer for coolant lines? The one elbow coming off my turbo is leaking after a hard drive because I was stupid and forgot to tape it.

Car sounds a little clicky eh? It's not the cam chain, I had the valve cover off and its clear the old owner (also first owner!) had it replaced recently. It appears to be the injectors, which are 550cc bosch's.'

If anyone needs a almost new KKK K03 or clutch and fly let me know, both are fairly new from this car. The Turbo has a seized M10 bolt stuck in it, but that can be easy outed

My injectors are the same, they click really loudly, iirc they are injector dynamics 550cc. Fairly normal with large ones. Don't have any of the liquid thread sealer but Gregg's is right next door.

Clicking is probably the EVAP solenoid. My 550s dont click

The N80? She pulsates... But no clicking. I can actually feel the injectors clicking with the rhythm.

No, we don't do paint. I usually refer work over to stampede collision. Dealt with Lawrence over there on a number of occasions.
