I have a question for those who have installed st's or equivalent coils in the front of a B6A4, what does the top of the spring sit in or on, on the under side of the control arm plate? I cant remember what was in there from when I did my air install and I need to know if I need a part (ie, rubber spring isolater) or not, cant remember if I threw everything out or not. Does the plate have a machined pocket for the coil to sit in?

I had mine installed by CAW.. one tip, make sure you install the rear spring upside down (my instructions actually had it this way, however most do not) or else you will have to take the spring completely off to adjust. -
