just so people know, i have plastidiped my cars before so this is not a first. i had my hood and trunk done on my old b5 and never had an issue with cleaning it at all. as for dust and dirt yes it does attract more but i have stock brakes and i get little to no brake dust now.

Thanks for the support, the car is black and in prettg good shape minus some side trim missing. i will for sure post my results when i have them, may take a month or so as the wheels are in calgary and im in Edmonton

I didn't mean to come off so negative, it definitely does have some huge advantages and is priced well enough that you can have some fun with it and remove it all when you are tired of it. I'm running white on my wheels right now, despite being a ***** to keep clean, I'm throwing my vote in for that.

my thoughts on this my urs4 is 19 years old fading paint and peeling clear coat. why would i spend 5k on full respray and 2k on bbs wheels when you can dip the whole car and stock wheels for $400

plasti dip can look tacky if its not done well. a well sprayed one is hard to tell apart from vinyl wrap.

oh i vote for white.

not trolling but you can get hub caps and steelies for less but it looks like you only spent what you did ... paint the wheels .. you can get endura in spray cans for arround90$ the finish is nice and looks like paint (go figure it is ) . plastidipping the entire car is fine if you want to try a different color out before committing but is not a permanent solution to a thin wallet . if you cant afford to do it all the right way ,just do something right . take your time, otherwise it will look like you have emptied the go fast isle at Canadian tire just to pass your bordom ....

Again why I love plasti dip haha. If I was keeping the .:R this year, it would have been getting a whole new custom color again. I get bored way too fast

Of all of the options listed I vote gunmetal without matching the grill or plastidipping the hood matte black. I think the matte black hood would look very tacky/cheap.

i think i did do it right i did the important stuff first so the car drove properly. H&R springs blistein shocks all new bushings. cleaned up the interior oem carbon trim and rs2 steering wheel. so the full car was dipped black and then a custom blue. remember we are dealing with a 19 year old car here its not a classic its just old.
the point of moding is to be different is it not. myself i do not like the stretched tire look at all,but lots of people do it,thats what makes the shows/meets interesting.follow the crowd or do your own thing.
