B5 S4 p3cars gauges

A friend ordered this for his b6. Coolest thing ever.

I emailed them. We would need 10 people to get te gauges made for the b5 s4.
I want one so 9 more people.

have you thought of a PPD system for the b5?

seems very similar and will log every time you go WOT, simple, clean, same price point.

Edit: actually a fair bit cheaper... once you add the vent and a map sensor its $570... then shipping and duties...

Ppd requires a working screen and no shift light (this is huge for me)

shift LED can be had for $20 and programmed to go off at whatever rpm you wanted, ive just got mine set to beep, however there is no way around having a burned out display.

Looks cool but I think the PPD is a better option. I just got my screen fixed so I could get one.

PPD with shift light and 3 stage boost map option is still less. PPD displays more than one value at a time. PPD does not take up the OBD port. PPD has Configuration/update software. With the PPD you don't have to take your hand off the steering wheel to see the info.

The center LCD is a really cheap fix now only 50 bucks or so for the panel and a fairly easy DIY. There are cheaper ones out there but here is the first google ebay hit http://www.ebay.com/itm/Audi-A2-A3-A...-/251294454189

An added bonus is I like having the clean look of the factory vents. Never really liked the AFR and Boost gauge taking up the centre.

Okay. So regardless of the ppd stuff. Which isn't any cheaper (p3cars is $419 with analog boost), they look better. I do not like the ppd. Don't want the ppd. Won't pay for the ppd and have no intention of fixing my display.

This is not a buy a ppd discussion. This is a would you like another functional gauge setup that is affordable, looks good and is slightly different then what everyone has discussion.

So please stop trying to sell ppd like this is a tv infomercial.

This one would probly be the drivers side vent if anything. Just like the B6 and almost ALL of the gauges they have. Pretty cool gauge for not that much money!!

Sorry it sounded like you were looking for 9 more guys with B5 S4's to get this going. Being a small portion of the local Audi community I was just piping up that I had gone another route and would not be able to contribute to the group needed to get this product up and running for our vehicles.
