New to the Euro drivers forum, been around the fourtitude/vortex crowd for a while. Had an APR Stage 2+ Mk5 GTI before trading up to a TTRS.

Ive been contemplating an aftermarket exhaust, and I had heard there might be a couple TTRS gearheads on here as well. In particular I'm thinking about going APR stage 2 but am unsure about the RSC exhaust. Im on the fence as to whether or not to go with just the downpipe or the full exhaust. I talked to Andrew at C-1 and he mentioned there might be a guy with the full turboback exhaust on these boards so it would be great to meet up and have a listen.

Welcome John, TTRS' are amazing and a big fan of Sepang blue too!!!

I think we have two other TTRS owners on here (Bart and Gerald) but not sure if either has an exhaust upgrade. I know Bart thinks the stock sport exhaust sounds the best still so he is not likely to change and having cruised across Germany in his car I have no complaints!

I cruised around one day a year ago with Bart before I ordered mine and really like the OEM Sport Exhaust... I have the stock one so am thinking of buying one off someone who might have bolted on an aftermarket one... Does Gerald have the black one with the spoiler delete, if so I think he has the Sport Exhaust.... ( standard exhaust has silver tips, Sport has blacked out tips)

Bought it bone stock except for Titanium Wheel option

3m film all over front and rear ( that's wax in the hood edges)

3m carbon fibre wrap on grill surround and inlet side blades

3m aluminum grey wrap on back valance

Full tint back windows, light tint taillights, front visor tint

Hard wired iPhone and iPad Mini with Kuda mounts ( clip into stereo / vent mounts... Does not move even if u yank it)

Custom CF Mirrors and gas cap coming soon




Adaptor / wiring have been cleaned up, now just the thin white lightning connector... Looking for a black one if anyone has a linky....

Mechanical mods:

Just the 42DD shifter mod ( tightens everything up very nicely)

Adjusted camber and GEO for almost complete reduction of understeer ( thanks to 996cab from Fourtitude)

Will be going APR Stage 2 with a custom map soon

Waiting or the new Z28 release... The car will have Recaro Sportsers as an option, should make them cheaper to order from the chev dealer instead of aftermarket
