Re: Post Fahrfromehome Engine Bay Cleaning Up

I feel a few things are going on here ... you used to drive something from japan or korea(or your buddies did) and you are bringing some of your favorite things from that group here ... some of what they do is cool , tow hooks are for race car and only when made from a large ring of aluminum and not the factory unit(besides this make people think your car will be breaking down all the time or your driving habits require your removal from a ditch often) .sticker bomb im cool its a cheap way of not permanently changing your car. The blue is well thats a personal choice but it looks as if you painted it well so good for that. White defiantly would be classier but judging from the plate (btw a very bold statement as a civic si would rape your car) your still learning some class . swear words on a car is something i would expect on the back of a jacked up white f350 next to a tap out sticker . It looks like you want some praise but have yet to spend any money on your car at all ... just slow down make some better modifications not more. but i love your passion ..

A little off topic but I'm digging that Euro plate. Hilarious.

Thank you!^ it's honestly mostly just aimed towards the ricer idiots that don't even know what vtec is and yes those newer Hondas are fast! I raced an si and it was close! He pulled on me though, definitely a quick car!

And thank you all for the input! None of this HAS to stay this way but I like it so I'll keep it like this for now! It is my first Audi and I owned a mk3 prior which I slammed and it was kind of more along the "street" style versus a clean Euro car (I plan on buying another mk3 so I can build a nice looking, clean euro vr6 or something) and I'm still learning what fits where so I am just using what I have for now! And even $100 to do the engine bay is something that would be too much until I have spare money when I'm done buying wheels and coils and such! Like this paint job didn't cost me anything I had all the supplies on hand! But thanks to those who like it! And those who don't, have no fear! It's not permanent!

originality is key... keep doing what YOU do,
or you can be like everyone else and buy BBS wheels, I'm sure they would approve of those lol.

Re: Post Fahrfromehome Engine Bay Cleaning Up

if you are looking to go "clean european car", try to keep your car as oem, or oem+ as possible. lots of people only enjoy the "clean" look. but there are some of us who appreciate and enjoy originality to an extent.

i personally love the originality stuff if it is done nicly.(i have done it on my car. not just with the white accents, but a quite a bit more wild last year. check my thread .)

i can tell you have the mod bug and want to do things to your car even if you dont have the cash to do it. you are just like how i was last year. my car was mostly stock, and i wanted to change things so badly, so i grabbed a spare yellow spray can in my garage. i know this didnt cost u any cash, but trust me it is worth it to save for the bigger mods that will make a bigger difference on your car.

good luck with the modding, im looking forward to see how it progresses!
