    Update!

Head back from the machine shop. Bad news...it has to go to another machine shop now. Mistakes were made and I had to cut my losses and go else where.

I have now tore the head down to bare cast and will be installing all new valves this weekend. Minus a final clean after I lap the valves in I will be reassembling the head o my own to avoid further issues.

I have lost $400 and 2 weeks of my time but .... it's still salvageable so it not done yet.

For the time being I was able to get the IM cleaned and painted. Looks good to me. Going to apply a decal of some kind to the top.

Inside I am pissed beyond belief. But they are installing new intake valves to replace the ones they messed up. After that I'll be taking the head to another shop to have it verified as trust with shop 1 is pretty much gone.

I'm holding back right now cause they still have the head and I'd rather not have them mess it up more

Head came back from the machine shop but the made a mistake when resurfacing the head, and managed to nick all 10 intake valves in the process. So it's back with then for 10 new intake valves. Ecu is installed, water pump in and new thermostat. Pretty much done all the little things now until I get the head back and can start bolting things back in.

3rd working day. Making progress now. Teardown is complete. Head is off. Time to get it to a machine shop and get it all nice and clean.
