Re: Kenny's UrS4
For the return line, I have a spare S4 return line that should work. I may replace the whole feed line as well from the fuel filter so I can put my fuel pressure gauge in a different location.
As for the tune, Marc mailed out a new chip but it was pretty much the same. I think I might have a bit more boost from 3k to 4k but not much. Getting 21psi by 3k and then 26 after 4k. From 4k to 6500 it pulls HARD...hard enough to pull away from a Golf R, which I'll take seeing as power is pretty close but I have an extra 700lbs on the R.
Going to enjoy this setup for a bit, got a month of so before she gets parked for winter.

Re: Kenny's UrS4
Car looks so much cleaner with the Euro signals. Glad you finally came around on that... looks right proper. Clean lines and all that. Engine bay is sharp, some nice touches that hint at some brawn lurking beneath, yet looks mostly stock. Appropriately OEM+, and better in person too.
Also glad that one of my spare wastegates did the trick. That you deduced my main spare was from a 10v k26 was gravy (and thanks!). Marc is a pillar in the community, glad he made things right with the tune... did you get your revised file yet?
Do you know what you're doing on the return line front? I have some benders you can borrow if you want, and can show you how we do... it's really simple when you get the hang of it and with the trade shortcuts you can avoid most (if not all) of the math to replicate existing lines. Bulk tubing is cheap; the nuts and ferrules is what gets expensive, especially if you have a do-over.

Re: Kenny's UrS4
Still trying to figure out some issues. Slightly high fuel pressure at idle throwing a Vag Com code. 00561. Fuel pressure is 55-58psi at idle and should be 50-52 psi. Thinking I have a bad return line from the rail to the tank.
On a side not, took day off to landscape the front yard with the wife and kids.

Re: Kenny's UrS4
After weeks of struggling with excessive overboost issues, I have finally found the source of my issue. The 034 1.9 WG spring was causing massive overboost spikes in excess of 33psi. Went back to the stock WG spring at the stock setting and now its spiking 26 and holding.
Marc at EFI express is also sending me a new chip set with enabled launch control and early N75 ramp up. Right now I'm not getting full boost until 4k rpm and I was hoping to see boost at 3500.

A little interior shot from this evening. Still looking good I'd say.
