Just picked up some near mint winter wheels/tires for a great deal. I guess this is the right time of year to buy them for next season! My only concern is if they will fit my 2007 A4 Avant S-Line. They were originally fitted on a 2010 A5. I have the stock 18" S-lines on the car right now (235/40 18x 8,ET 43 (I think?)). The ones I have bought are 17 x 7.5, ET 28 with 225/50 tires. All the calculators I have been able to find, tell me they 'should' work and only move out about 10mm from where the stock ones sit and fill about 7mm more of the wheel well. I know I will need to get some hub centric rings (66.6 vs 57.1). Anyone with any experience fitting winters of varying sizes? I guess the truth will be in my taking off a front wheel and fitting them up, but that will have to wait a week or two. All the 'guides' online say that the 2007 a4s should use wheels with an ET of 35-45, which is what has me a bit concerned.
