like the title says i have $10,000 to drop on my car and that includes interior and exterior, but i have no clue what performance parts i should build my audi with. With the help of you guys i hope i can come up with the info i need!!

This too. If you want to stick to a B5, I'd upgrade to an S4. Otherwise I'd probably try to find a B6.

As some other people have said, why spend $10,000 on this car, is a B5 A4 even worth $10,000?

I would even question spending it on an S4 but that will get my lynched on this forum.

I think you'd be happier even upgrading to a B6+ A4 2.0T than spending it on the B5.

b5>b6..... build motor.... BIG TURBO may be a little tough to get it done for 10k unless you do your own work but you'll enjoy driving it

I read the title and that's EXACTLY what came to mind.

Your powerband with a 1.8t is going to be non-existent if you BT the thing... pushed way up in the rev range. Like 4.5k-7k rpm is where you'll get any decent power.

Otherwise, is your car totally stock... anything at all done to it? What do you want out of it, where do you drive most often? Do you go to the track ever, do auto-x events or just cruise around town/hwy?

Autotragic or manual?


For the record, you can get a pretty decent b5s4 out of the US for around $10k.

Do a vr6 swap and turbo that. Or buy an S4.
