one of the door blades on my brothers S4 Avant has a gap and he wold like to replace it.. what are some of his options to replace these with he said he was quoted app $600 for a set... Thanks

Unfortunately that's about the going rate for then unless you find them used or on eBay. Doesn't sound like he needs a set though, just suck it up and pick whichever one he needs up from the dealer for $150
