  • Anyone have a hub puller?

I'm going to attempt the CV boots on my fiancees 325xit. It sounds like I maybe be able to pull this off without a puller, but if there is one out there that can be borrowed for some beer that would be nice to know before I start ripping her car apart.

Has anyone done one of these jobs before? The re-assembly/clamping looks like it might not be totally obvious, and for the dis-assembly some people say pull the tie rod, some say take the LCA off the subframe, some say disconnect the strut, some say that bolt breaks all the time so don't do it. If anyone has attempted this and has some tips for me I'm all ears

I needed an 8". So I just bought it, on sale at PA so what the hell.

          If anyone needs:

          Tie rod puller
          Ball joint separator
          3 Jaw puller

Let me know. Haha. They will be sitting on the shelf for a long time now I hope...
