best on the highway about 720ish going down to montana,etc

daily driving (the wife) airdrie to NE calgary and home again with small trips in between.. every fillip is easily 520-570ish i'd say as i'm always putting the gas in

PS.. 2005 auto that is stock.. i bet chipped would give better mileage too

Think my dad is getting 600-650 on a tank driving between Calgary and Edmonton frequently.

I think it is a 2003, it is a 6-Speed, all stock.

Is that on a 60 L fill give or take a couple of litres , I am looking at one and the guy says he gets 400km per tank which seem way off thats only 6.5 km/l

70L tank.

Pure city driving (Short 2-10km trips - not even any freeways) I'll get around 400-450km per tank. Highway ranges probably 600-675km going 120km/hr+. I've got a stage 3 6speed.

You still have that 2.0 diesel a4 Chris? How far does that get you?

Jeff, I find that in the GLI my l/100km is way out to whack compared to what I actually get my car says 8.4L/100 yet I only get 400-500 to a tank.

If this is directed towards me, you've got the wrong Chris. I've never owned an A4 before. There is a guy in S'toon with a crazy TDI swap into one though. Never asked him what kind of mileage he gets though.

As for L/100km - I've adjusted my MFA setting up about 10% so it reads more accurately, so it's really anywhere from 10-12L/100km on the highway if I keep the speed down. Looking at it in the city is useless though.
