Audi has announced the new RS Q3 Concept will be unveiled at Audi China 2012 in Beijing.
The root of the concept's personality is generated from the 2.5 TFSI engine that has been coupled with the company's seven-speed S tronic transmission system. It boasts turbocharging and direct injection technology and generates 360 PS (265kW / 355hp) enabling it to accelerate from 0-100kph (0-62mph) in 5.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 265 kph (165 mph).
The exterior design starts with a single frame grille on the front fascia that is flanked by the large air intakes below the tinted headlights. The rear end meanwhile, features a redesigned bumper that integrates the rear diffusor and tail pipes. The glass sunroof gives plenty of light to an interior that is mostly black with a few hints of the similar blue color that is coated on the exterior.
There are no indications at this early stage whether Audi will bless the Q3 with an RS version in production form, but we expect to hear more about this following its world debut.
