GIAC Releases 2012+ US-Spec Audi TT-RS Software

GIAC is the first tuner worldwide to offer a fully switchable option for the high security MED9 ECU found in the TT-RS. GIAC stage 1 software is available for enthusiasts who choose to retain a factory exhaust system and intercooler. For those who wish to go Stage 2 with more extensive hardware upgrades, that will also be available.

Until 05/05/2012, customers who purchase GIAC TTRS “pump mode” software will receive “stock,” race and valet modes in addition to a GIAC Handheld Flashloader Switcher for an MSRP of $1000.00

GIAC TT-RS flashing as been on fire due to the recent updates! The old tune dominated in the power circles (special thanks to AWE Tuning for the development time) but this new revision was developed for the RS3 supercar (same motor/ECU family/security as the TT-RS) for sustained high speeds and consequently pulls much harder to the rev limiter. GIAC would like to thank the team at Stertman Racing in Sweden for their help in testing this great new prodram.

At the moment GIAC is the only tuner that can do switching for this complicated MED9 ECU (Only GIAC can offer a track proven race gas mode). GIAC can also clean up checksum errors from non-GIAC prior tuners if necessary, unfortunately this has become a common issue for others.
