in regards to the 4.2 are you sure!!???

Assuming they are the same setup as the A6 4.2L, here's a timing belt kit for one. Not much use if they are using the same rear twin-chain driven timing setup:

allroad 4.2 doesn't have a timing belt and its NOT the old audi 4.2

check photos the top end looks EXACTLY like the s4 engine bay.. i'll ask george if he knows then.. not that i care but its bugging me now

I stand corrected. Those engines are holding up well if you keep up on the oil changes, but if those tensioners go, 5K to Tunedub.
