Who can do wheel bearings?

My right rear is gone, getting horrible to drive on the highway. Not allowed to do in my building anymore (tried to fine me $250 just for CHECKING the oil).
Who can do and whats it gonna cost me ballpark?

i had my last rear done by george it was quick in out in 1 morning.. he said the bearing was toasted.. it was so rad sounding to drive on ahhaha

Cgy autoworks did my front on tuesday. Cost me about 300.

Yes my building has strict policies on maintenance in the parkade, but they are not always so good on follow through and actually fining people though. I did get a fine once for having two cars parked in my spot when I had the Smart, and my spot is over 20 feet long, was not happy.

I did my own once, not too bad of a job if you have a gear puller and the monster socket for the hub nut.. Part was ~$200 iirc.

Agreed but that kind of stupidity goes on everywhere. I'm pretty sure it was DJ who got a ticket for changing his headlight bulb on the street right in front of his house because a neighbor complained.....

I dont think shoveling and mowing the lawn have anything to do with a few common sense rules. I will agree that jobs such as oil changes and bearing replacements should be left to the garages, but when you have to do a simple task such as replacing a bulb or checking your oil, its pretty retarded for anyone to complain about that. Same goes for parking your 2 cars in one stall. Considering you pay for that one stall, I dont see a reason why anyone should have a complaint as long as you are within your respective stall area.

Complainers are complainers and some times it is just something that bothers them and they call Bylaw or a condo board and people get fined or ticketed. Can make living in a condo or on a certain street a fun experience if you share it with such people.

i decided to deal with a different way, i ran for the board and got elected. now they cant **** with me.
still though, its a fine line between checking oil and doing work. you see someone with their hood up doing stuff, for a normal person its going to mean their working on their car.
doesn't help my audi likes to piss coolant where it sleeps, so it looks like ive been spilling fluids sometimes.
