yea alternator.. i boosted the car today and let it run for a few to charge up the battery and the voltage didn't go higher than 12.. up front/low the alternator is making a terrible sound spinning around so its toast.

i pulled the negative from the battery with the car running and it died instantly so new alternator ahoy

Have you considered just refurbishing the alternator yourself? I watched/helped a buddy do one for his Mustang, cost him $85 in parts and about an hour in time. Hardest part was getting the casing apart, but a bit of heat and a hammer, pry bar... bingo! Most likely thing is your brushes are worn out.

DJ too much work and no play for me lately

tonight i started taking off the front end
somehow one of my bumper shocks bolts is stripped inside.. **** i hate this **** sometimes

the bolt comes down about 1/4" or so then just spins.. i tried to pull down and wrench it so it would come but nada.. i think the bumper support itself is spinning or something.. i guess i'll try and cut the head off the bolt so i can get the bumper off or remove the shock as i have room to get to it too..

I had mine rebuild at macs auto on edm trail about a year ago. Cost me 150.
