I did some more testing and found a way to make a b6 a4 timing belt work for this set up. I used the eccentric pulley from the B6 kit and used the B6 belt. You have to use the B5 S4 tensioner and tensioner pulley. This is what it looks like...

Alright more up dates... Today I installed the B6 A4 timing belt on the S4 block with the 3.0 liter heads. Had to trim a little of the rear timing cover on the passenger side head. Then putting on the eccentric roller was a little tricky. I used a screw driver to pry it closer to the mounting hole and snapped off a piece of the front crank seal, but it's all one and torqued to specs. I haven't released the tensioner yet just in case I have to trim something else...

I used he B5 power steering mounting bracket to mount the A4 pump and used the B5 alternator bracket to mount the A4 alternator. Trimmed a little of the upper timing covers and had to bend the dip stick to make it fit.

And the single turbo kit with precision 6266 turbo
All from 034 fueling and tuning still in the air

One step forward and two steps back.... I'm reconsidering scrapping the B6 heads. Reading a lot of bad issues with the head bolts stripping and cams breaking. I think I'll end up going with the 2.8 heads.

After some careful consideration I've decided to scrap the 3.0 heads and go with 2.8 heads and run the B5 ecu
