  • Help with Logs

Hi, I wanted to do some Vag-Com logs just to have a look at how things are running etc but don't really know much about it. The logging part is pretty easy to do, I just don't really know which blocks are most usefull and how to interpret the output. Looking to learn. Any suggestions?

Thanks MmmBoost. Does anyone know if there is a resource somewhere to help interpret the information in a log? Expected values/ranges e.g.?

Okay, VAGcom has a very bad sample rate for logging, but it still can be done. What type of cord and program do you have, is it ripped? ebay cord? etc... Then
All you have to do is research the measuring blocks for your typical ECU/Car. I'm assuming you have a B6 S4 and a good cable, i would start by using the ADVANCED option and picking individual sensors you would prefer to log.
        Hope that helps
