    For those not on my book of faces, here's what ggraeremeeermame and i found in my bell housing yeterday

    Notice the teeth on the pp. Some are stuck in. As if the inside springs twisted and must have brokeneded. We put our peniseses in the hole. It was scary

    After releasing the bolts on the pp. A neat rattle of "parts" fell out... Those parts were my clutch.

        lol ... it happened driving on southland drive in rush hour traffic. unreal! when it exploded, it felt like i hit the worst pot hole ever! the entire car shook so hard, i was surprised the air bag didn't go off. until i realized i had no clutch, i thought someone drove into me.

        on that note, gramememe and i pulled the engine yesterday afternoon and had it back in yesterday evening

              thanx dude. Chris Meyers helped too by lending me a few tools that Cam didn't have (12 point torx)...

              there were a few maintenance items i needed to address while i had the engine out. so that took time putting it back in. Once we got it in, I pretty much took my time all evening fixing little things here and there. removed my rear o2's. fixed a few split pcv lines.

              oh i fought with the strangest thing too! the upper rad hose would not fit on the nozzle. i pushed as hard as i could. i fought with it for hours! literally, hours. i heated it with a heat gun. i cooled it with ice. i scraped out every peice of dirt. it would not clip in.

              now if you know what these snap plugs look like. the male side (rad) has a rounded end that slides in. then right before the nipple click is an raised angled peice. i did not know this, but the matching angle in the female plug is actually an insert. it is _not_ molded with the plug itself. so it can slide forward and back. when removing the plug, the insert slid forward. this prevented the plug from fully sliding onto the rad.

              strange!!!! that was my only real problem. the rest was pretty decent. nothing stands out as being difficult. with a hoist, air tools and lift... graeme and i working together we could probably have that engine out in 2-3 hours...

              my genius idea to put the tranny on worked great! we lubed the tranny shaft with a bit of anti seize. put the tranny on a height adjustable stool on wheels. graeme manned the hoist.. lowered it until i eye ball'd the line up.. and it slide together first time!! never in my life have i experienced such an easy tranny/motor process

              Also my slave cylinder rod had a very bent dink. check out the mushroom'd head on it's dink...

              graemememe also traded his car in for a skyline wanna-be

              his 359735973573 motor pull this year

              ultimate weight removal == FAST

                same one... i was going to use the new vast one that ryan had offered me for a good deal. however, it hasn't had any real world exprience yet so i was cautious...

                            Sorry I just seemed to be turning into an ego stroking thread, so I had to say something negative. We don't want G's head to grow
