First off, a shout out to 034 for using my car on their youtube channel, I've had nothing but good come from them!
Secondly as promised the wiring of the Aquamist HFS-3, thanks to Richard at Howerton Engineering for helping me with the nozzles i unfortunately lost. And Dave @ EPL for the wiring diagram and advice. My theory is that if EPL expanded their business to the middle east, war would just end . hahaha

This is kinda DIY-ish because i had clean hands this time so i took tonnes of pics
I got the computer out and stored safely.



I fished up and stripped the RJ cable provided with the kit back ~7" by using the string in the cable up through the ECU/terminal block space



Next i made a list of the wire as compared to the S4 ECU pinout diagram, and Dave @ EPL's email.



Started at the top and began 'identifying' each wire then connecting them to the correct RJ color. I did that by reading the ECU pinout finding it and sticking one end of the leads on it from the back(you know why when you do it), and comparing it at the sensor with the other lead. resistance is your friend ! Nerd alert

MAP blue/grey on one lead, other at the ECU connector.


Here is the ECU side wire that i identified then cut and stripped so i could splice the RJ to it


Here's a blurry picture of how i feed the RJ cable around to intercept the wire on the ECU harness. You might have to strip the factory tape back and retape the harness again when your done.


Identifying the injector wire on the driver front


After i identified and spliced the injector wire i did the N75, which wasn't a parallel splice. Because it's part of the failsafe system the white RJ wire goes to the ECU side, and the brown wire goes on the N75 side. Here is a picture of how i got a head start by just looking at the wire color i needed to put one lead on at the N75, and then i just used the ECU pinout for the otherside.


Done! So i taped her back up and put the end connector covers back on and ty-wrapped them



I made another list of the incabin HFS-3 unit


Here i had all the cables ran to the fusebox area and tydied up the harness'




Because i dont have a dimmer, purple wont be used, so i hooked the red to 75x and the white/black to ground, the same ground each to refrence.



Everything ty-wrapped and clean


I then followed the strict start up precedure and BOOM

UPDATE: Working on numbing the failsafe to the meth box, something is triggering it all the time. So i pulled the PRK jumper and stuffed it in the FBS slot to get some logs down. I logged both with and without meth and i can say that meth sure keeps the knock voltages down through IATs. Now hopefully Dave is going to send me a new revised file with the short/long term + WOT maps a little more smoother and custom so we can get serious and aggressive on tuning. Seeing 21psi and 9.5afr's right now with the enriched topend of //METH! Above 5000rpm i spike like launch control fuel trims and begin to bog, although the turbos are still spooling. More updates VERY SOON
