Just wondering if anyone has ever used EC automotives and whats that feed back is

Haven't used them, however in the process of obtaining recommendations for a worthy shop to bore out my block, that's who I found.

Dan the parts guy at Southgate Audi told me to talk to Mike @ EC because that's where they send all their work.

Just my two cents.

Yeah thats what i heard from euroasia and a few other places.
i talked to on of the owners today and he seems knows what he's talking about

I worked as the parts delivery guy for EC ages ago. They are probably the best in town. Tons of shops relied on them.

I'm going to bring my block in tomorrow, it will take about a month before they even look at it.

Was in for a bit earlier this week, your stuff looks all shiny after a trip to the hot tank.

This shop gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling; staff is knowledgeable and friendly, everything inside looks well set up and clean.

Just got an email from Mike at EC machine and looks like my block is ready for boring.
I just wanted to mention the pricing they are giving me on OEM parts.
Rod bearings- $66.71
Main bearings- $105.98
Complete Gasket set -$139.91
-Head gasket
-Intake gasket
-Valve stem seals
-Cam seals
-Valve cover gasket

I have to stop by and drop off the Pistons and rods, and I can give another update.

Good prices though. Did you end up sourcing your valves through EC as well?

I'll get pictures as soon as I make my way there. Tomorrow morning hopefully just been busy today.
I'm not touching the heads yet, but I might just buy stock valve from them cause they told me about 5 to 10 bucks per valve, which is nice no shipping cost.

Also found out that EC machine does fly wheel resurfacing.
