Any suggestions for body part shops?

More specifically Im looking for both front fenders... I shoddy fender rolling has left some rust bubbles, and I am thinking it might be cheaper to just replace them.

I found a few US sites that have them for $60usd.. but none ship to Canada... I guess a trip to Montana could be worthwhile.

Checked picknpull's website and it says they dont have an A4 there...

I was choked to hear back from one eBay store.. BNIB fenders are $65 each, but no shipping to Canada.

Hm. FWIW, bigskyeuros.com (IIRC) is the local Montana equivalent forum of eurodrivers, so perhaps you'd be able to find someone there to take a shipment and resend it via USPS?

On some car part search site I believe I found a pair of brand new fenders for $65 each in Surrey... My fingers are crossed!
It says 'New Aftermarket' lets hope its not some fiberglass vented POS.

Looks like I will have the $60 ones coming from Surrey! Not bad for a Brand new 'aftermarket' part... even local guys were quoting $70 each for used painted ones.

$60each coming from BC via Greyhound will be tough to beat.. Im somewhat happy they are not painted as I can actually have the fenders rolled properly with no worry of them cracking.

May I ask why your fenders rusted? I need to roll mine as soon as I can get my hands on a fender roller but I want to make sure I don't mess anything up.

It rusts because the paint chips/cracks when you roll your fenders.
That is why its good to roll you fenders and then paint them, notice Mark's excitement?

Even if you heat up the fender to help prevent that from happening?

Even with heat cracking can occur on some fenders, I think the older the paint the more difficult it is, also depends on the shape of the inner lip being rolled. Fronts are usually more problematic than rears too.

heat helps a ton.. my driver side didn't crack.. lots of heat from a hairdrayer.. passenger.. not enough heat and crackity crack.. meh.. paint job time anyways

I also believe part of the problem is that rolling the fenders creates a 'V' shape that can hold water and debris from winter driving. For these fenders I will be doing a pinch seam and look at sealing that seam with silicon or something similar.
