              ^ Pull a plug, screw that in, turn the motor over 5-10 times, it shows you how much compression (psi) the cylinder is producing

                I know :( Not to say who ever tuned his car didn't try. I didn't have much time to really look into it. And we never did push Cam to give it a once over. It's clear to me now that the "misfire" was indeed severe detonation. Also, misfires usually result in a very lead condition apon recovery. Some people do not consider how dangerous a misfire is and what causes it. It's not graemes fault for driving the car after paying for a crappy tune.

                A few people had been in that tune. Of course the first thing anyone does who wants to be a hero is add ignition timing. The phrase "Oh we can squeeze a few extra ponies for ya" *tweak tweak* 2 degrees of timing. That's what everyone with a brand new dyno says *cough cough*. Once they pop a few motors and fudge enough dyno numbers and write snowtire BS rants, they begin learning. Gotta break a few things before you know what they're made of

                On this rebuild, I'll bring graeme to cam at lightspeed for a proper reliable tune. My honest opinion is he goes back to a 2.7 with a good tune. I have spent too much money and time over the years to care about being the fastest anymore... So rarely will I promote huge big power builds. I think they're neat! But I don't want to ever get involved lol. It has taken years to build, break and learn to have my reliable high output engines.

                  don't forget to disable your fuel pump and open the throttle plate (on our cars u need to stick a screw driver in there)

                    Just out of curiosity, how much does a comperission tester go for, and do they come with adapters for dif sizes?

                                if it was in fact the tune, and given the individual that tuned it was no more than 50 feet away when the car was smoking in the pits, was there any communication as to why this might have occured?
