There is a forum member (Liquid) that has a S52 M-coupe. It was listed for sale. I am a BMW CCA member. There is a S54 coupe listed out in New Jersey that was just posted on the online classifieds. Here is the information:

As M-coupes were produced in the U.S., you do not need to pay the 6.1% duty.
Hi Liquid.
What a coincidence. I have an 08' R32 for sale. Shame we didn't collaborate on this in January LOL.
Thanks for the info Dave. There is a great buyers guide out there which is run by a guy who seems to spend all his free time scouring the internet for them and posting them on his own site. 2-3 pop up every day so I know I'll be able to find the right one. I'm interested in getting to see one up and personal before heading down to make a purchase in the US.
Enthusiast Auto always has some pristine examples as well. Here is their website. http://enthusiastauto.com/qsearch/?f...&selLevel_1268[0]=1&selLevel_1268[1]=6&1574_0=1&x=20&y=9. They are highly regarded by the BMW community. I agree with being able to test drive one here before heading down to the U.S. unless you know that you will love it regardless.
Hi Dave,
Cheers for the link.
I'm holding out for an extremely low mileage steel grey model. I might have to be extremely patient! I've tracked down an Estoril Blue with 5000miles on it and while I love it, I think I'll always be wondering 'what if??'
There is one definitely out there. Last week, someone posted a 2000 M roadster with only 5.8K out in Washington. This is evidence that the garage queens do exist. I will let you know if I spot anymore M-coupes posted as the classifieds update every day.
You got it. They only made about 120 in this colour for the US so they don't come up to often hence why I may bite at an Estoril blue. Im patient enough to wait until mid summer though.
Here's one... Price is a through the roof though: http://listings.mcoupebuyersguide.co...x?ListingID=37
Can only dream to get $60K for that car. I recall seeing low mileage ones listed on BMW CCA before and they are max $35K. No more. The S54 ones are more expensive but that is expected as they are newer. Since they have a reduced redline compared to the M3 coupe, there were no bearing problems with these engines. Kulu had 2 for sale a year or so ago.
From what I've read they do have engine bearing rod problems but if gotten to before any damage it's $1500approx. to eradicate the problem. I agree, $60k is far too much for that vehicle. Im window shopping in the high 20's right now - we'll see.
