It could be temp related, not usually that significant of a loss, but a couple psi is quite normal
I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you

In the mean time until you can get a pressure test done, remove and inspect your TBB and your F-hose if you've got one.

You guys should fab up your own cheap ones.
2 hose clamps, some 3" rubber plumbing joint. A PVC cap, and a nipple to plug into a regulated air supply.

Re: S4/B5 Boost Pressure Tester in Edmonton

When you say temp related, what exactly do you mean? From what I understand this time of the year the air is more dense and could assit in raising boost pressure? I checked the AWE boost gauge hose and plastic t fitting with brass insert on one end, everything apears good, I dont have F hose on my car.

The pressure test only checks the top end of the engine.

No, the pressure test checks the entire air path, including the IM, turbos, IC's, and TB.

You shouldn't see boost loss in the cold weather. You probably have a significant boost leak. Did you inspect your TBB?

                          Intake manifold.

In short, it tests the entire system all the way to the cylinders.

The air is more dense, since our cars run on a MAF system, the charge air being more dense, the ECU compensates and reduces boost pressure

I don't want to dispute you Jordan, but every winter I have had my car, I see less boost in the colder weather. Usually about 1.5-2 psi
