We organized our pulls on Wednesday or Thursday... I dont think you need much lead time at all.

Todd was 236HP and 260ft lb. He has videos he will post later.

Its an AWD dyno.. no idea if they can only run FWD or RWD.. I didnt ask.

results for the S4 with K04 kit. A bit of boost oscillation.

T-Dubb's 05 STi compared to a stock 06 STi with Cat-back exhaust, uncorrected. There were more runs with a few more HP from added ignition advance but since he had added octane booster (the expensive stuff that actually works) I left it with the lower ignition advance.



The dyno can be used for:
FWD, RWD, AWD, even 1WD (motorcycle) if I add some adapters

Only possible issue is with vehicles that are lowered *a lot*. I may have to come up with some "widgets" to avoid scraping the bottom of the car during loading/unloading, as well as strapping it to the dyno.

I dealt mostly with Subaru's and in stock form, they are like SUVs compared to some stock German cars

Is it not that the stock STI - 300hp?
The dyno results in 203 hp -->>> 30% loss?

Is the power loss (in%) similar between brands?

STI is rated for ~300hp at the crank, at sea level, with high octane gas.

At ~3500' there will be a loss in power.

And, the Dyno Dynamics spits out lower numbers relative to Mustang or Dynojet. That is why I collected data from stock cars for reference.

Because each brand of dyno will produce different results for the same car, under the same conditions, you should look at the % change in performance after changes are made.

^ Yup. You also have to consider that 300hp is at sea level with standard atmospheric conditions. If you look at the corrected power- 260whp, then you'll get a bit more realistic idea of the parasitic drivetrain loss here.
