Vag-Com Fogs to DRL B7S4

Just read a thread on another site where they are saying you can simply Vag your Fogs on a B7 to run them as your DRLs like on a B6.

Is this true? I was under the impression that you had to do some "wire work" to make this happen.

Is anyone here running their fogs as the DRLs on a B7?

No but I did wire the city and fog together so I just turn that on and use it as my DRL sometimes
