Haha, sad but true. Spent all day yesterday getting mine up and running again after I lost use of the shifter. This car will be the death of me, but I still love it. Don't tell my wife.

I know I'll be back one day, but not soon enough. I'm chasing one more lead on a 2.2 20v turbo. If that fails then I don't know what I'll get. My luck with other Jettas ect has failed on a biblical scale.

Three really clean recently listed on Kijiji. Prices may be a bit steep but they are out there.

ya that one looks really clean. Mech owned all records. You still have the new bumper? There is one down here with damage to the front fender and bumper but low speed impact so no really damage.
