I had a nail (irreparable) in a rear tire (at 38k on tires) -> Costco has to replace both rear tires ->tires were discontinued =>I received 4 brand new tires - I paid for the upgrade (old tires were reimbursed 3 x 100% and 1 x 75%).
Warranty and service - criteria I base my decision for tires upon.
(IMHO - a quattro should be happy even with 4 wooden wheels)
