Re: b5 s4 fault codes help?

try and clear the brakes in the ABS/brakes part on vagcom

its your sensors in the pads. if you bought pads with no sensors you have to put a wire through the middle connector on the harness to loop it so it shuts up already

if your trunk is leaking its actually vacuum locked.. there is a black hose on the right side for the popper take a peek at that

Luckily it's your pass. side EGT that needs to be replaced, which is the easier side to work on.

would the egt explain why my gas milage sucks balls! i have OEM brakes with the sensors and it never went away, i guess i will try it again. as for my trunk it is coming from the passenger side.

        thanks guys.

          Yessir, bad EGT=bad fuel mileage.

Try checking the connection at the pad wear sensor connector.

You have one of each, one goes to the passenger side, one to the drivers side
I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you

I think he's actually got 2 black EGT sensors, depending on when his car was made, exactly. The early S4's came with 2 black sensors and the later ones came with a red and a black one. The good news is that it's extremely easy to pop your hood and make sure

well i definetly have some work ahead of me, im hoping to do my egts before i come down to calgary and see jordan for a tune. o2's are a must as they have been an issue for the past year, if you tune them out will it cause poor gas milage? or is it better to keep them
