So I'm looking to get some new wheels for my B7 Avant and I'm stuggling to figure out what to do mostly because of the color of the car which is Dakar beige metallic. It's not a very sporty color and I'm not really wanting to go for a performance look for the car. I also have to decide if I want to get 18's or 19's. With the 18s I could just throw some winter tires on and ride them all year long or I could get the 19 and get summer tires on them or all seasons and then just switch to my 16s when the weather starts to get really nasty. Anyway, here are the wheels I'm thinking about. Any input would be appreciated.

Mercedes s550 wheels. 19x8.5+43 and 19x9.5+43




Mercedes AMG Monoblocks 18x8 and 18x9



or the 18x8 S4 wheels you know what they look like

In the end I think I'm going to go for rotiform's, but that will have to wait until I get out of school and start making more money. When I get the money I'll probably go for a set of the SJC's these will just be to satisfy me for the next 3 years. It pains me to have an unmodified car.

yea but the avant is pretty well in its own form

just a drop/wheel is all is needs.. just steal chris' 18" avus for a bit off his avant


but i'd say the merc rep 5spoke are probably the best of the 3 you have up

Those S550's look insane on the sedan! which means they would look even better on a dropped avant.

I agree with this, would have a very classy look on the avant, plus you cannot go 3 years with the car looking plain! You can also pre-order the Rotifrom Nue's (5 spoke) in the cheaper cast 19" for $299 a wheel which would look hot too!

IMHO I'd consider rims that are easy to clean. So many cars with fancy (initially great looking rims) blackend by the brake dust. German pads' compositions are dusty...

I was thinking the same thing about the S550 wheels. That they will be terrible to keep clean. However they do look ridiculously good. So I think I'm going to pull the trigger and get them.

I'm not a big fan of VMR's .. plus everyone seems to have them. I haven't seen anyone put the S550 wheels on an avant yet.

In all honestly tho, I say stick with the S550 wheels. They'll be more original and will be one less car running RS6 Reps. hahaha

Those are nice. I just ordered the S550's today so hopefully they get here before it starts snowing. I need to decide on tires now. Summers or all seasons.
