I do in fact lack tires. Last week a welding truck dropped a piece of plate off the back and I hit it and blew a tire.

Luckily i had 3 more, but now I have 2 30% worn RE-01s. Tires that aren't made anymore, lol. I don't know what i'm going to do with them.

FWIW I have four 235/45-17 pirelli p6 tyres at about 2-3/32" (by memory...) over the tread bars you can has free if they're of use.

i don't read very much on AZ, lots of junk. i have however browsed a couple threads about the ASP place, and that Mark character in particular. His response is EXACTLY something I would expect in order to save face. He's lying through his teeth IMO.

However, you're going to get nothing back. The cross border issue will muck things up for sure. I feel bad for your bro, but that's one gorgeous avant and with a little bit of TLC it'll give you lots of good memories.

At this rate it's probably more positive to let it go. Mark is making empty impotent threats, but this is probably costing you more in negative energy than anything else.

this is my take on it, and you can call me negative and say im bitching and moaning or whatever but i think its the realistic truth.

The situation sucks. We can all agree on that.

But unless you're going to actually pursue a) the seller, or b) the shop, you're wasting your time, your breath, and aggrivating yourself for nothing.

Again, no one is disputing the fact that you likely got a raw deal out of this, and i really feel for you. But you need to look forward from this. You've said you're piece, ASP's said theres, and the peanut gallery has chimed in. Unless you want to continue to fight the internet battle that you'll never win, either retain an attorney and go the legal route, or let it go and enjoy the car.

Having been involved in these types of things before i feel for you. But after reading that thread, i can see you're just spinning your wheels. The nutswingers will be nutswingers, and the normal people have enough information to go on to make their own decision.

I agree with you which is why I said I was done with the thread in that post. I reported their behavior to the BBB in New Jersey and that's the end of it. ASP has clearly fucked a lot of people over the years and eventually they will lose their customers.

I'm focused on making the car the way I want it now. I'm going to plan over the winter and get at it in the spring.
