    Re: TT questions

step mom likes audi over BMW. they're going to explore a lot of options, but seems like things are moving more towards TT direction, either 3.2 or the 2.0T.

I thought you specialized in 2.7T's?

Unfortunately, I'm good friends with Graeme. He'll be doing all my tuning.

"Specialize" does not mean "limited to"

VAST is actually moving into the 2.0T arena more and more with their tuning and product, which is why I mentioned it.

What do you mean Graeme will be doing your tuning? I'm a little confused. Do you mean that he'll be modifying the base maps on the ECU with his Maestro software?

No tuning. At most I'll pick up an APR tune for them or something where I can get it through a local shop in Vancouver. Not incredibly worried about it, as they won't even drive it like it's meant to be driven all that often.

Didn't the poster say under $30K CAD at some point?

You guys really stepping outside the budget?

I don't think you can get these cars for that little.

I like the mk2 TT's cool looking car.

I think I would go older Boxter though. I've always thought they would be really fun on a budget. You'll get the typical "it's a poor mans Porsche" but seeing as they have been out since 98 (?) you can get one in almost any budget.

Yeah, 35k is probably the maximum including border crossing fees and whatnot.

We'll be exploring a few options.
