Haha...not saying you or anyone on this forum. I just have run into a few guys who think they are car guys braggin about it.

I will say this though, all boosted automatics keep the boost up through all there gear changes, so it does have beneficiallity I guess. Although not all that fun to drive compared to MT.

The first Audi tip I ever drove, I got freaked out by the fact that the steering wheel radio controls had a weird affect on the way it drove...seriously...
once I got that little peculiarity figured out, I was actually pretty impressed with the AT performance (3.2, not 2.7). Point is, I'm pretty sure I would still enjoy the performance with an auto, but given a choice I'd always go MT.

I don't know if I'd trade my tip S4 for a manual to be honest(or the allroad for that matter). The paddle shifters (mk1 TT wheel) make it more than enough fun when I want it to be and sitting in traffic with a dead clutch leg is why I sold my GLI...to each his own I guess but I love both my tips.

              Kyle,

The point is to own BOTH a tip and a 6-sp. Why choose between the two when you can have the best of both worlds

On a more serious note, can you bring your car by sometime? We are going to re-tune your car for you with a new tune.
