The 12 years, you are absolutely correct, but Rust is only covered by warranty if the rust manages to eat through the metal. Thus surface rust does not fall under this warrant.
i also have a very small surface rust spot on my drivers door, right at the bottom, not covered by warrarnty, called certified audi collision repair and was told 400-500$ to paint the door and fix the rust, so its a cheap fix.
I'll probably second guess my S4 purchase for a while (it is probably going to look like this on a regular basis), however I celebrated the fact that I haven't looked on line for another S4 for at least a month now...baby steps...
I wouldn't Boo-urns the AT if the price were right, it would sure make it easier to talk on my cell phone while eating my Big Mac and blow drying my hair all at the same time...if I were on the hunt right now I'd certainly consider this car (it WAS posted in May, which probably means it has hit a moose at some point) and it IS a nice colour

I am guessing you haven't driven a 2.7t TIP, it is a very different experience than the 6 MT
I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you
I am basing my statements on having driven my car as an AT and an MT, although it may be more convenient to daily an AT, it will never be as much fun, nor will you ever feel the amazing torque off the line

you got the tq right, i hate waiting for the power to come on in my AT, thats why im buying an MT next year and keeping my AT at a daily. With only 140km its got lots of life left.
"TIP" is only a marketing gimmick. It is the same as having 1,2,3,D,N,R,P in any domestic or import automatic trans. Not sying anyone here, but I love the guys that brag about having a "tiptronic" shifter. Like its such an advanced transmission and adds 30HP or something. Hey retard..its a glorified slowmatic, get over it already.
