ok CEL came back on again, but now there is quite a noticeable power loss when accelerating. at about 4k its like it drops off to half throtle, i cant even break 120kmh in 5th gear it just bogs.

it's at autobahn right now getting checked. i have no freakin idea whats going on. FML

may be a coil pack related issue, i wouldn't worry about it too much because it's covered by VW

nah already been through that. its running fine and all. just no power.

so i guess it has a boost leak and is starving for fuel at higher rpm.

fuel filter and DV maybe.

104,000km haven't changed the fuel filter... so yea going to do that haha.

the dv would explain the compressor surge i had recently. cuz it started the same time as my power loss. and it is still the stock dv with an apr tune. maybe it blew? guess i'll find out tomorrow.

glad all will be well, and relatively cheap repairs, at that. might as well get new injectors since you were expecting more costs, i would bet.

getting the fuel filter changed cuz it needs it any way and a "tune up" you could say, just checking over every thing to make sure there isn't any other current or upcoming issues.

Waiting on the forge dv to get shipped from van. so hope thursday it'll be up and running again!
